Rawathawatta Drug Bust: Heroin from Afghanistan and Pakistan

Colombo (News 1st): According to Sri Lanka Police, the 177 kilograms of heroin discovered at a house in Rawathawatta, Moratuwa yesterday (March 11) was brought in to the country from Afghanistan and Pakistan in January this year. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted yesterday that the heroin is valued at Rs. 1.8 billion.
