"People of this country want Gotabaya"-Wimal Weerawansa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A public meeting of the National Freedom Front was held in Udawalawe yesterday (March 11). The meeting was chaired by the leader of the National Freedom Front, Wimal Weerawansa. He was critical of Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe's statement on 19th amendment where the PM said that the 19th amendment assisted in eradicating the underworld. He noted that with Ranil Wickremesinghe in power, the country is unstable and without a proper leader. "The people of this country are asking for Gotabaya Rajapaksa to come forward to create a new era for the country" he concluded.
