2019 Budget Vote Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The vote on the second reading of the 2019 budget will be held today(March 12).
According to our Parliamentary correspondent, from tomorrow(March 13) onwards expenditure overheads will be discussed in Parliament. He added that a cabinet meeting is also scheduled to take place this morning at 8.30.
The COPE committee will resume its investigations on several fields, and also to commence a fresh investigation on foreign employment.
