Gold worth Rs. 20mn seized at the BIA

Colombo (News 1st): Customs arrested a man for the possession of gold valued at over Rs. 20 million at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
Customs said the suspect had arrived from Doha. Acting Customs spokesperson Vipula Minywanpitiya noted that 4.043 kilograms of gold was seized from his possession.
The suspect had concealed the gold in a false bottom in his luggage. The suspect is a resident of Ratnapura.
