Explosion at Kollupitiya junction : 11 shops damaged

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Over 11 shops at the Kollupitiya junction were damaged in an explosion that occurred in a shop in the area early this morning (March 08). The police say that three shops were severely damaged in the explosion. A Chinese couple and two shop owners sustained minor injuries due to the incident while one person is currently being treated at the Colombo National hospital.
