Jayasiri Tennakoon new Prisons Commissioner-General

Colombo (News 1st): Jayasiri Vijayanath Tennakoon has been appointed as the new Prisons Commissioner-General. The Ministry of Justice and Prison Reforms stated that cabinet approval was granted after Tennakoon's name was proposed at the cabinet meeting yesterday (March 6).
Tennakoon has served as the Additional Secretary of the Labor Ministry. Issuing a communique the ministry noted that he will assume duties next week.
