COLOMBO (News 1st): A group of representatives from Association to Protect ETI Depositors met with UPFA MP Wimal Weerawansa today (March 5). When they met with the MP and explained the situation they are facing, Weerawansa stated that the "other means of wealth" owned by ETI has been given to another company, which is owned by the same person who owns Lyca Mobiles. "He has not even completed the payment. It is not clear whether the amount paid will be used to resolve this crisis of the depositors. The Central Bank seems to be completely neglecting the payment to depositors. If this situation prevails, no citizen of this country will ever deposit their money in private financial institutions." added the MP
