It was wrong to flee the accident scene : Mahindananda Aluthgamage

COLOMBO (News 1st) - UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage, commented on the hit and run that injured the Traffic OIC, Borella police. He noted that it was wrong to flee after an accident. The suspects were arrested and produced before the Magistrate courts. He added that a case of this nature is usually filed in the traffic court, yet in this incident, it's been filed at the Magistrate's court. He said that he would refrain from commenting on the matter. Ajith Rohana, DIG In Charge of Motor Traffic commented that the injured OIC was on the way to Iron Man competition when he was hit by the defender. He added that the case was filed at the Magistrate's court due to the allegations of attempted murder. The defender has been driven recklessly before the accident as shown in CCTV footage.
