Rathgama Abduction: IP Kapila Nishantha De Silva remanded till the 27th

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Inspector of the Southern Province Special Investigations Unit Kapila Nishantha de Silva has been remanded till the 27th of this month. The order was issued after he was produced before the Galle Magistrate. The CID who are currently investigating the abduction of two businessmen from Rathgama arrested IP Nishantha yesterday (February 18) on charges of abducting and the disappearance of the two persons. The case of the two missing businessmen was handed over to the CID on February 13th upon orders given by the IGP.
