MP Nirmalanathan urges govt to renovate Patakam bridge

Colombo (News 1st): Following a function at Mullaitivu, TNA MP Charles Nirmalanathan said that the Patakam bridge which is in a dilapidated state is used by over 600 families. He added that until now, the government has not allocated any money to renovate the bridge.

He pointed that at the same time Rs 3,000 million has been allocated to Palali. He said requested the government to intervene and renovate the bridge as it only needs about Rs. 50 million.
