Carbon dating report on Mannar mass grave to be presented in court

Colombo (News 1st): Chief Judicial Medical Officer of the Mannar hospital Dr. Shaminda Rajapaksa states that the carbon dating reports issued by the Beta Analytic Institute, Florida, USA will be presented to Mannar court on Wednesday (Feb 20). He noted that they have received the reports for 5 samples (out of  6) submitted for carbon dating. Yesterday marked the 146th day of excavations at the Mannar mass grave. Dr. Rajapaksa revealed that they have so far uncovered skeletal remains of  323 individuals adding that the remains of 314 of them were removed from the site. He went onto note that 28 of the skeletons discovered, belonged to children.
