'PC elections will not be held in bits and pieces' - MP Wijepala Hettiarachchi

Colombo (News 1st): UNP MP Wijepala Hettiarachchi speaking at a press conference in Galle today noted that the UNP manifesto clearly states that they will not conduct the Provincial Council Elections in parts, like what the Rajapaksa regime. He noted that the Provincial Councils elections are to take place on the same day. MP Hettiarachchi pointed out that there are 2 to 3 months left to end terms of the current provincial councils Uva, Western and Southern Provinces. The parliamentarian noted that they must request the President to dissolve the remaining three provincial councils.
