Reuters: Formula One's newest team, Racing Point, launched their 2019 livery on Wednesday (February 13) in Toronto, Canada.
The team, formerly known as Force India, started their new era with a touch of familiarity, as they retained the striking pink colour used in previous seasons, but with added blue for the title sponsor SportPesa.
With the 2019 car still being prepared at the team's factory for the pre-season testing in Barcelona, Spain next Monday (February 18), the team livery was was unveiled on a modified 2018 car in the homeland of their new billionaire owner Lawrence Stroll, whose consortium rescued the team in the summer of 2018 after financial strain led them into administration.
Force India were long regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound team in F1, finishing fourth in the standings in 2016 and 2017.
Now with new ownership off the track and drivers Mexican Sergio Perez and Canada's Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence Stroll, they are aiming to once again punch above their weight and challenge for points in the forthcoming season.
