Police officer arrested for assaulting two youth

COLOMBO (News1st) - A police officer has been arrested for assaulting two youth in Nilpanagaoda, Minuwangoda.
The police noted that the assault took place following an argument which transpired when the motorbikes of the officer and the two individuals collided with each other. He was arrested following a complaint lodged by the two youth on the incident.
The arrested police officer is attached to the Katunayake Police.
