Arjun Mahendran's arrest would satisfy the people - MP S.M. Chandrasena

COLOMBO (News 1st) - UPFA Parliamentarian S.M. Chandrasena spoke on the drug menace in the country. He said that based on the President's statements it is clear that he was not allowed to take on the drug issue for four years of the tenure of the government.

The MP noted that the President has been able to deliver many triumphs since he took the Police under his purview. He called on the President to take steps to reveal any politicians that could be connected to the drug trade.

He added that the people would be satisfied and justice would be served if the President does the necessary work to allow our police officers to travel to Singapore and nab fugitive former CBSL Governor Arjuna Mahendran.
