Suspect arrested with illegal conch shells in Hambantota

Colombo (News 1st): A person was arrested with a haul of conch shells weighing about 6 kg at Barracks Street, Hambantota. The Sri Lanka Navy noted that suspect is a 56-year-old resident of Hambantota. The suspect along with the conch shells was handed over to the Hambantota Wildlife Office for further investigation.
