Colombo (News 1st): A programme to strengthen the Smart Sri Lanka Vocational guidance institute chain was held in Pollonaruwa today (Feb 8). The new career guidance office was also inaugurated in the new Polonnaruwa town this morning. Speaking at the event President Maithripala Sirisena, who arrived as the chief guest, noted that the arrest of high profile drug traffickers in Dubai has been flooding the media for the past two to three days. He noted that amid all of this, there are so many individuals attempting to take the credit for this. For example, he said a minister had stated to the newspaper that the plans to arrest these drug traffickers were initiated several years ago.
