11 arrested while roaming around Gampaha Court Complex

Colombo (News 1st): 11 people who were roaming around the Gampaha Court Complex in a suspicious manner were arrested by law enforcement authorities this afternoon (Feb 8). Today security at the court complex was beefed up as a case against underworld figure 'Pas Podda' and several others was taken up at the Gampaha Additional Magistrate's Court. The Police said investigations are underway to determine if the 11 arrested men are associates of underworld figures standing trial and if they are connected to any crimes. The Gampaha Police has obtained fingerprints of all the suspects and investigations are underway.
