COLOMBO (News 1st) - Measures have been taken to carry out the container clearance operations that were stalled due to the customs trade union action under a special security mechanism.
The Secretary of the Customs Officers Association Vipula Minuwanpitiya noted that a large number of officers have been deployed to expedite the clearance operations.
