JUST IN: Dimuth Karunaratne appointed as captain

Colombo (News1st): Dimuth Karunaratne has been appointed as the captain of the Sri Lankan Team for the tour of South Africa. Meanwhile, Niroshan Dickwella has been appointed as the vice-captain. Former Captain Dinesh Chandimal has lost his position as the captain as well as his place in the team. Several players have been called into the squad. They are;

• Anjelo Perera
• Oshadha Fernando
• Lasith Embuldeniya
• Mohammed Siraz
• Milinda Siriwardena

Sadeera Samarawickreme, Roshenm Silva and Dilruwan Perera who were in the squad which toured Australia have also lost their places. The test series against South Africa will begin on the 13th of this month in Durban.
