President opposes idea of a National government

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Maithripala Sirisena says that he is against the proposal of creating a National government. He had also said that the provincial council elections not being held challenges the democracy of the country. The President made this statement at the 71st Independence Day celebration that is currently underway at Galle Face today (February 04).
