Election laws to be amended

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella says that a parliament selection committee will be appointed to amend the rules pertaining to elections.
He further said that the decision was made upon a request made by the elections commission to amend the outdated laws.
Kiriella added that this decision was supported by party leaders.
