Body discovered floating on the Mawussakale reservoir

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A body of a 16-year-old has been discovered floating on the Mawussakale reservoir in Maskeliya. The Police confirmed that the deceased was identified as a resident of the Glentilt estate in Maskeliya. The relatives of the deceased had lodged a complaint at the police saying that she was reported missing for three days. The post-mortem examination on the deceased is due to take place. Further investigation into the incident is to be conducted by the Maskeliya police.
