Chemicals used for fruit ripening to be prohibited

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Agriculture P. Harisson noted that all chemicals used to ripen fruits will be prohibited.
The Minister said that the decision was made in order to minimize the usage of artificial methods in ripening fruits.
