Colombo (News1st): Customs took into custody a suspect who attempted to smuggle 27 Kilograms of Wallapatta commonly known as Agarwood at the Bandaranaike International Airport. The Agarwood is worth Rs. 1.2 million.
The 21-year-old suspect, a resident of Negombo, was to travel to Dubai through Mumbai. The Agarwood was confiscated and the suspect has been released with a fine of Rs. 100,000.
