13 suspects engaged in illegal fishing apprehended

Colombo (News1st): The Sri Lanka Navy arrested 13 suspects who engaged in illegal fishing activities using banned nets in the seas off Sinnapadu, Kalpitiya. Four dinghies, a banned net, and other fishing gears that were taken into naval custody along with the suspects were handed over to the office of the Puttalam Assistant Fisheries Inspector for further legal action to be taken.
