Woman bites off a 18-year-old's ear in Balangoda

Colombo (News1st): A woman has bitten off a 18-year-old boy's ear in Weligepola, Balangoda. Police said the incident took place when the boy went to meet his girlfriend at her house. The suspect is the mother of the girlfriend. The boy had been admitted to the Balangoda hospital and the woman has arrived at the police station with the piece of the ear. The police media unit note that the piece of the ear had been given to the relevant hospital. The victim is a resident of Pallewela, Balangoda.
