Two arrested with 18kg of Cannabis in Jaffna

Colombo (News1st) - The Police STF, with the assistance of the Navy, arrested two suspects in the Welwetithurei area in Jaffna today along with 18kg of Kerala Ganja. According to the Navy, the arrest was made while the suspects were transporting the narcotics for sale using a motorbike. The arrested suspects have been identified as 38 and 27-year-old residents of Welwetithurei and Nagarkovil. Meanwhile, the Navy reported that they were able to take into custody a total of 527kg of Kerala Ganja during the month of January.
