Where is the PM's Assets Declaration?

COLOMBO(News 1st) - Executive Director of the Transparency International Sri Lanka Asoka Obeyesekere notes that they are still waiting for the Prime Minister's asset declaration to be released from the Presidents office. He noted that in late 2018, the Right to Information Commission provided a order for the assets declaration of PM Ranil Wickremesinghe to be released, however, it is yet to be released even in the absence of an appeal filed against it. He concluded that it is absolutely necessary to compile the asset declarations file and make it available for the public as it empowers them to hold the elected officials accountable.
