Policy recommendations for Sri Lankan airlines

Colombo (News1st): The ministerial committee appointed to present recommendations on the future course of action for SriLankan Airlines is due to present their report to the president today (Jan 28). Committee member Minister Harsha De Silva said that the committee that conducted the inquiry was led by Minister Eran Wickramarathne. The Minister added that the current loss of Sri Lanka is close to USD 1 Billion. The Minister said that a number of policy recommendations for SriLankan airlines will be presented to the president in the committee report. He added that three possible alternatives that Sri Lankan airlines could take have been included in the report.
