Fire erupts at a cardboard factory in Hendala

Colombo (News1st): A fire erupted at a Cardboard factory in Hendala, Wattala around 2 AM today (Jan 26). The Fire Brigade of the Colombo Municipal Council noted that two service vehicles were dispatched to douse the fire.

Meanwhile, a fire has broken out in several temporary shops in Mawanella.

Police stated that the fire was doused with the support of the Fire Brigade of Mawanella Pradeshiya Sabha and residents of the area. 

Causes for both the fires have not yet been ascertained.
