COLOMBO (News 1st) - Hong Kong and Malaysia will provide training for officers attached to the Commission to investigate allegations on bribery and corruption in Sri Lanka.
The decision was made at the world conference to eradicate bribery and corruption held in Vienna, Austria.
Director General of the Commission, President's Counsel Sarath Jayamanna said that the Chairman of the bribery commission in Hong Kong and Malaysia agreed to the request following a meeting.
Jayamanna further said that a group of officers from Hongkong will arrive in Sri Lanka within two months for the training.
