Man arrested for forged number plate

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 29-year-old suspect has been arrested for driving a vehicle bearing a fake number plate. Police noted that upon interrogation the suspect had revealed that the number plate was that of another vehicle. The arrested individual, a resident of Athurugiriya is the owner of both vehicles. He is due to be presented before the Kesbewa Magistrates Court.
