138/1 buses on strike

Colombo (News1st): The Private Bus Employees running on the 138/1 route between Mattegoda and Pettah have commenced a strike action. The Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association Gemunu Wijeratne stated that the protest was launched citing an issue surrounding a bus stop. They state that the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha is trying to remove the said bus stand and that the protest will continue till a solution is provided.
