Colombo (News 1st) – The Consumer Affairs Authority notes that they would pass on all request to increase the prices of gas and milk powder to the price control committee.
Its Director-General, M.S.M Fowzer said that two gas companies have requested to increase the price of gas. Accordingly, a request has been made to increase the price of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder by Rs. 300 and 400 respectively.
Meanwhile, the director general stated that milk powder manufacturing companies had requested a price hike of Rs 150 or Rs 175.
