Island wide survey on smoking

The survey will be conducted together with the World Health Organization and the USA Centre for disease control and prevention.

The lack of accurate statistics on smoking addiction has created issues in implementing programmes to beat the addiction

, a survey of school children addicted to smoking was 

conducted in 2018. The survey concluded that

 there had been a 50% decrease of children smoking from 2017 to 2018.
