US delegation to visit China for trade negotiation

Reuters: A delegation from the United States will visit China from Jan.7 to 8 for trade negotiation, according to a statement released by China's Ministry of Commerce on Friday. China and the United States had a telephone conversation at vice-ministerial level on Friday, confirming the visit of a U.S. delegation led by the deputy U.S. trade representative Jeffrey Gerrish, the statement said. The two sides will have active and constructive discussions on the implementation of the consensuses reached by the Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump during their meeting in Argentina.
