COLOMBO (News 1st) - Nelu flowers known to bloom just once in 12 years can now be seen in the Horton Plains National Park.
Seven Nelu species endemic to Sri Lanka are blooming these days at Horton Plains.
These flowers which bloom once in 12 years fade away after two weeks.
30 Nelu species can be found in Sri Lanka while 26 of them are endemic to the country.
