Heroin stock worth Rs. 3 billion seized

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The police arrested two Bangladesh nationals with 200 kilograms of heroin in Dehiwala today (December 31). Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara confirmed that the value of the seized heroin was worth over Rs. 3 billion. The arrest was made by the Police Narcotics Bureau based on a tip-off received. 5kg of cocaine were also taken into police custody during the raid.
