PM Wickremesinghe visits Somawathi Stupa

Colombo (News1st): Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe obtained blessings from the Somawathi Stupa this morning (December 29). The Prime Minister and others called on the Chief Incumbent Venerable Pahamune Sumangala Thera and obtained blessings. They also visited the Gal Viharaya in Polonnaruwa and obtained blessings from Anunayake of Asgiriya Chapter Venerable Vendaruwe Upali Thera. The Premier also washed the feet of the Buddha statue resting at the Gal Viharaya.
