"RW is afraid of the public and elections" - Krishantha Pushpakumara

Colombo (News1st): UPFA Southern Provincial Councilor Krishantha Pushpakumara speaking at a media briefing in Colombo today said Ranil Wickremesinghe acts modestly and comprehensively discusses democracy only until he obtains power and control. He added that it is with this cabinet that all decisions are made and advice from those who guarded and remained with him at temple trees, including the Buddhist monks who chanted pirith, have been disregarded. The Councilor went onto note that during his struggle for leadership, Ranil Wickremesinghe made several promises, however, none of them were fulfilled. He noted that Ranil Wickremesinghe will not give up his leadership to those who are capable and efficient. He added that Ranil is afraid of facing the public or an election.
