Rare cormorant species spotted from Giritale

Colombo (News1st): A rare cormorant species was spotted in Girithale, Polonnaruwa yesterday (December 26). News1st correspondent in the area stated that around 5000 rare cormorants were spotted. Locals said the cormorants migrate to the area due to the change in the weather and they are mostly seen when water levels of the Girithale Tank rise.
