One dead in Kuruwita assault

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A person has died in an assault that occurred in the Kuruwita bus stand.
The Police confirmed that the victim had succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the Ratnapura teaching hospital.
The police further said that the unidentified deceased person could be a beggar.
The body currently lies in the Rathnapura teaching hospital.
