Sirasa Christmas Zone commences for the 4th consecutive time

Colombo (News1st): The Sirasa Christmas Zone opened today for the 4th consecutive time in environs of the Capital Maharaja Organisation's Head Office in Braybrooke Place Colombo 02 under the auspices of His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith. The opening ceremony began after His Eminence placed the statue of infant Jesus at the crib located inside the premises. The ceremony was filled with colour by the carol services carried out by the choir of St. Bridget's Convent. The zone also grants the public to witness a statue of mother mary blessed by the Pope himself, which was brought all the way from the Vatican. The snow land has a special place in the Christmas zone which is specially allocated for children. And there a many more fun and knowledgeable activities for the kids. A glamourous lighting system and a gigantic Christmas tree add more colour to the zone. The Christmas zone will continue till the 23rd of this month.
