Ranil Wickremesinghe has not changed - Shehan Semasinghe

Colombo (News1st): Several UPFA Parliamentarians convened a media briefing in Colombo, today. UPFA MP Shehan Semasinghe noted that there is a division within the UNP, regarding cabinet appointments. He stated that Ranil Wickremesinghe has asked several MPs such as Rishad Bathiudeen, Malik Samarawickrema and Thilak Marapana to publicly state that they would not accept any ministerial positions. Semasinghe added that Ranil Wickremesinghe completely disregarded the MPs who struggled to bring him back to power and appointed a corrupt group into the cabinet yet again. While noting that the Joint Opposition have made complaints regarding several parliamentarians including the Prime Minister to the bribery commission, Semasinghe reiterated that their struggle for power was merely to save themselves from corruption charges. He concluded saying that Ranil Wickremesinghe has not changed at all and he will not give up his leadership in the UNP.
