Colombo (News1st): Minister of Housing, Construction and Cultural affairs Sajith Premadasa stressed his commitment towards serving the people when he returned to the Ministry of housing today after being sworn in.

Following religious observances at his ministry, the minister presented a sum of Rs. 1 million to Lucion Pushparaj who gained international fame by clinching the World Body Building Championship.

He noted that during the upcoming period everyone should be prepared to work 24 hours not just from 8.30 to 4.30 as they will definitely work on a shift system and make the ministry full of life. He said as there are only around 10 months left for a Presidential election, they will have to do the work of 10 years within these 10 months.
