COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Committee appointed to investigate the recent unruly behavior in Parliament is expected to analyse the CCTV footage of the incident today (December 20).

Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri confirmed that apart from the CCTV footage recorded from within the parliament, video clips that were aired on various electronic media will also be scrutinized.

Meanwhile, the loss caused to the parliamentary property has been estimated at Rs. 330,000. The Deputy Speaker further added that investigations are underway to take legal action against those responsible for these damages.
