Saman Ekanayake appointed secretary to PM

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Saman Ekanayake has been appointed as the Secretary of the newly appointed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe with immediate effect. The appointment was made by President Maithripala Sirisena. Saman Ekanayake served as the secretary to the Prime Minister on a previous occasion as well. According to the Prime Minister's office, this appointment was made in accordance with the 51(1) right of the constitution.
