We will make a strong Government - MP Sajith Premadasa

Colombo (News 1st) - Deputy Leader of UNP Sajith Premadasa stated that they hope to commit to the people more than before and act against fraud and corruption. Speaking at a media briefing at the temple trees today (Dec 15), he stated that they will be making a strong government together with President Maithripala Sirisena. He noted that Ranil Wickremesinghe will be sworn in as the Prime Minister tomorrow (Dec 16) and this is because the President is following the constitution. He stated that he has always the known the President to be a modest person and this decision portrays it well. He continued to state that since a new cabinet will be appointed in due time, a vote on account will have to be passed until a budget is made for 2019. MP Sajith Premadasa stated that the parties who do not agree to serve the people and accept their wider vision will be voted out during elections by the people themselves. He added that they hope to perform a revolutionary service to the people.
