Saman Rathnapriya provides statement to the Police special investigation unit

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Saman Rathnapriya and three other civil activists made a statement at the police special investigation unit today over a statement that allegedly jeopardized national security. The general secretary of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya had filed the complaint stating that the statement in question was made at a media briefing convened by the Purawesi Balaya Organization. Statements were recorded by Saman Rathnapriya, Sarath Wijeyasuriya, and Gamini Viyangoda at the police special investigation unit for about two and a half hours. Speaking to the media later Saman Rathnapriya said that they will take actions against the people who violated the constitution and now act undemocratically.
